Positive Mindset, Positive Monday (1)

Happy First Monday of the New Year! As we wrangle ourselves today to return to work, to send our children to school, prepare for travel back home, or to pack up holiday decorations, I want to encourage you to do so with a Motivated Mindset. I am a firm believer that what we begin and where we begin will influence how we end………therefore; it is most important that we not only “Begin With The End in Mind,” but that we “Begin with a Positive-Motivated Mindset.”

Some would say, easier done on any other day than on a Monday. Well, you can do it, I have faith in you. For so many people and for so many decades the dreaded Monday blues, has loomed over us. You will be happy to know that this is likely due to cognitive heuristics. Cognitive heuristics is defined as “the tendency to emphasize peaks and recent experiences when one summarizes over a period of time.” Ones cognitive heuristics – mindset can me changed.

Our minds’ ability to enhance the thought that Monday is the worst day of the week, is none other than our natural ability to resist change: the shift from what we deem pleasant to what we regard as less pleasurable. Therefore; influencing a large emotional shift between our Sundays and Mondays.

One my favorite phrases “now that you have been armed with information – it has become your knowledge, how will you apply it to make 2021 better?”……Happy Monday to each of you, I hope that this and the remaining 51 Monday’s in 2021 are all Positively Motivated. #JaneNoteDoe
